Hey there, beautiful people! OMG I feel like it has been forever since I have blogged but we are going to do better because I have so much to share, catch y’all up on and want to share in the upcoming days, weeks and months! First things first, I hope y’all have been doing well! With so much still going on in the world, I hope you are finding ways to maintain your peace, sanity and joy. Second, our newest baby boy is here! If you aren’t following me online, then you’ve been out of the loop!
Our newest blessing, Troy Mateo made his debut 11 days early on April 19th, 2022 at 2:39pm. You can watch his birth vlog HERE when you get a chance! I wish I could’ve vlogged the whole labor experience, but the hospital had a no recording policy so I couldn’t get much footage unfortunately. However, we did share more in depth about the experience, why we named him Troy Mateo and so much more so if you want to hear about this experience (because it was totally different from my others) you can watch that video HERE!
It has been 9 weeks since giving birth to our little Troy and man he is such a blessing. I will talk more in another post about my postpartum journey, but our little guy is so handsome and such a mommy’s boy already. I cannot believe he is here. After having a girl and a boy, I thought that we were done, and our family was complete. But I can’t even imagine life without him!! I always wanted to 3 kids so to be blessed with that is just mind-blowing. I love kids and always wanted to be a mommy (by the man God had for me of course lol) so to be living the life I once dreamed of, God is faithful y’all!
Transitioning from a mom of 2 to 3 now has definitely been an adjustment to say the least. My kids are all 4 years apart so trying to meet their needs at the phases that they are at in life (having an 8 year old, toddler and newborn), give them my attention while sleep deprived trying to attain to the needs of my newborn. Whew what did I get myself into y’all? LOL! Although it’s hard, I can say I am trying my best. Especially living in a new state with no family and friends to help or even meet my new baby. Pretty lonely and depressing if I can be honest.
But thank goodness my husband is on paternity leave until basically August, so we get to do this thang together until he goes back to work! It’s not easy at all and I wish more moms of multiple will share what it’s like going through that 4th trimester. So many moms (new or veteran) are struggling with their new norms and wish that they had others to share how they are navigating this journey. So I plan to do so as a way of healing and keeping myself out of a funk knowing I am helping another mama as well!
This Tuesday made it 9 weeks since he’s been here and I feel like I will have more to update y’all on! But I wanted to let you know that he is here, he is healthy, he is beautiful and he is ours! Thank you God! I will keep you all posted on his development as I have with my other two, keep you in the know of this postpartum journey. If you have any suggestions, tips or anything you would like to know, leave it below and I got you mama!! So what’s been going on with y’all? Feel free to share any good news below!! 🙂
