Hey there, beautiful people! With the cold weather finally falling upon us, I want to share products that I use for stretch marks and dry skin in my Pregnancy Skin Care Routine. I’m sure that every pregnant mom out there goes through different body changes internally and externally. Some are probably noticing stretch marks, itchy belly and so much more already.
Luckily, I haven’t noticed any stretch marks yet, but my belly tends to get very itchy and dry. Also, my skin gets really dry in the wintertime. Being pregnant this time around during the cold weather, my skin is extra dry this time. My skin is so dry that coconut oil can’t even work its magic. #sadface So here are a few products that I have been using and loving. Hopefully, you will love them as well!
Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula Skin Therapy Oil
Y’all…I’m already a fan of Palmer’s products already. I love their cocoa butter, lotion and etc. But this right here was created in heaven and sent down to heal the dry and ashy. I’m telling you all my skin gets pretty dry. With this product, all I have to do is add two to three pumps on to different body parts and my skin looks and feels lovely! I love how it makes my belly look and feel after it has been applied. And I am not saying this to brag but I’m saying this because it is so true! I will leave them HERE for you to buy it because you are going to love it. This might be my staple skin moisturizer because it is so amazing and it works!
Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula Stretch Marks Lotion
If you want to help prevent or eliminate stretch marks, it is best to use something for it early on. When I first found out that I was pregnant, I started using something on my skin and belly immediately. Of course, you can’t stop from coming if they are supposed to be there. But I believe there’s a way to keep them in check lol. This cream helps to keep your skin moisturized and helps with the appearance of stretch marks. Once again, I highly recommend using this cream or whatever stretch marks cream of your choice early on to keep your skin moisturized and to help eliminate stretch marks (or the appearance of them) You can find it right HERE girl!
Vitamin E Oil and Cocoa Butter
Both of these items are key ingredients that a lot of products contain to help with dry skin and stretch marks. So if you want to keep it simple and natural, using both of them, whether separate or together, they both work miracles. I love cocoa butter because of its thick consistency and long-lasting moisture. And seriously, I love Vitamin E oil. It is lightweight and still works like a charm. The two that I use are linked HERE and HERE so feel free to check it out as well!
Water
You know when you’re carrying a baby, you have to double your water intake right? Well if you aren’t drinking your H2O, you are definitely missing out on moisture and hydration. I drink a lot of water as is. With this pregnancy, I have to triple my water intake. I tend to have dehydration moments and that leads to headaches. Plus, I want to make sure my baby is getting his nourishment…as well as my skin as well. So make sure you are drinking your water, mamas!
Those are a few of my favorite products for my pregnancy skin routine. I want to keep my glow glistening and these products have been helping to make that possible! Oh, The Bio-Peel Wipes from Neogen are amazing!!! The purpose of these wipes is to help even your skin tone and brighten up dark pigmentation on your face and skin. I have a few uneven spots on my face and using these twice a week are the truth! I got them from Sephora (Or you can get it from HERE) so I highly recommend it!
